From staff reports
A riding toy that was taken from Morrison Park in Cranberry Township has been returned.
The toy, a 100-pound parrot with a spring, showed up one morning at the park after the theft, according to the township’s Facebook page.
“We would just like to say ‘thank you’ to all who shared and got the word out about our recent thief at Morrison Park. The item has been returned,” the township posted on Facebook.
Workers will re-install the riding toy at the park.
Officials couldn’t place a dollar value on the riding toy but had said it would cost about $830 plus shipping to replace.
