Residents enjoy Oak Hill festival

Drucilla Boggers, 8, of Franklin, tosses a softball at the target to (successfully) dunk Oak Hill Apartments property manager Tammy Ross at the second Oak Hill Festival on Friday, while Devlin Boal, 10, and Felix Fetteroff, 5, wait their turns. In addition to the dunk tank, the event also featured train rides, a bouncy house and bungee jumping from Jones Party Management. Donations were made by Oak Hill Apartments and management company ABC Management, Rock Star Karaoke, Sanders Market, Schwebel Baking Co., Life Program/Oak Hill and Franklin Beer Co. The festival was first organized for the residents last year by the Oak Hill management team, and the team, including Ross, Robin Hanahan, Todd Shawgo and Jim McCauley, brought it back with more features this year. Management receives grant money every year to do things for the residents, organizers said.
