Residents address Franklin council on parking, noise ordinance

At its monthly meeting, the Franklin City Council addressed various citizen requests, including a proposal to modify parking regulations on Elk Street and extend the evening hours of the city’s noise ordinance for summer events. The council also discussed fixing a road depression on Orchard Street, appointed a legislative liaison, and reviewed recent speed enforcement efforts. Additionally, they approved park and parade assembly requests for upcoming events and received thanks from Oil City for street-sweeping assistance.
