The theme of next year’s relay will be “Board Games, In It to Win It.”
Pizza will be served tonight, and there will also be games for the youngsters to play. Teams are asked to take three choices for a board game for their campsites, and there will be a random draw for each team.
Next year’s relay will be held from 4 p.m. Friday, June 2, to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Oil City High School track. Funds that are raised benefit the American Cancer Society.
Leadership positions for registration, advocacy, mission and sponsorship must still be filled.
A daily number lottery calendar for December will be held. Teams will have tickets available at the American Cancer Society tent during Applefest. The tickets will be on sale through Nov. 15.
