Contestants are needed for the Princess and Brave Pageant, which will be held Tuesday, Aug. 15, as part of the annual Tionesta Indian Festival.
Children ages 6 to 12 who live in the Forest Area School District are eligible to compete in the pageant.
Contestants must dress in an Indian costume and prepare a short speech about Indians.
The deadline to register is Wednesday, Aug. 9.
The 2017 Indian Princess and Brave will be named at 5 p.m. Aug. 15 at the community basketball/tennis court in Tionesta.
