Seven nursing students are expected to graduate with their associate of science degrees during Pitt-Titusville’s pinning and commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. April 27 in the Broadhurst Science Center’s Henne Auditorium.
The pinning ceremony is where graduates receive their nursing pin from a family member or friend who has supported their commitment and journey through their nursing education. While the pin is being placed on the student’s lapel, their statement will be read by a faculty member.
After the ceremony, degrees will be conferred by Pitt-Titusville President Richard T. Esch. The new graduates will then proceed to the courtyard to ring the campus bell, which signifies their graduate status.
