I was saying to myself just this morning, “Huey,” I said, “Huey, you know what you need? You need a person all your own.” So I sat down to write this post for the nice human staff, because apparently, that’s the kind of thing they do – find nice people for extremely intelligent and lovable, slightly older cats who are… I shudder to type this… LAPLESS. That’s right. I have no lap to call my own. I do more than just laps though. I love to talk and give head butts when I want more attention. I was a barn cat but I’ve settled into this home thing quite well. I just ask for slow movements, cause those fast action hands scare me. Could you be persuaded to volunteer your lap forever? Visit Huey at the Venango County Humane Society from noon to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
