Pet of the Day 3/23/21

Well hello there! My name is Katara, and boy oh boy do I have a story for you! I came to the shelter with a pretty bad injury, and that’s where the missing leg comes in. A good Samaritan brought me here to the humane society, and they fixed me all up! My leg was just a bit too injured to be repaired, so I’m down to three now, but that hasn’t slowed me down a bit! I can still jump and play just like any other cat with four legs, but I’m still adjusting to the new scenario a bit. Sometimes jumping down can be scary, but I’m sure that, with the right combination of love and affection, I can be sure to blossom in a home where I can be the center of attention! I love cuddles and love to play, especially if the toy makes noise! I am still a little under 1 year, but my adult life is bound to be packed with lots of adventure and love once I can find my forever home. Could it be you? Visit Katara at the Venango County Humane Society from noon to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
