Does anyone have it in their heart to adopt a neglected abused former bait dog? Maybeline was found in North Carolina. She was heart worm positive, pregnant and starving. She had lost most of her teeth and was covered in sores. We saved her on December 20, 2022. Maybeline will need to go to a home without other dogs or cats because of her past history. We know finding the right home for this girl is a long shot, but she deserves a chance to know what it is like to be loved and feel safe. She loves stuffed toys, and likes to cuddle. We are working with pottying outside and seeing some improvement.
534 days. That’s how long May has been waiting for someone to want her. This beautiful 5-year-old pitty, recently participated in our slumber pawty fundraiser. She loved every second. May thought the costumes were fun, she let us paint her nails. When it was time to sleep she was so excited to have a sleeping buddy. She stole the chair and when Stacy got in it, May climbed on top of her. If you have a home free of small critters, please consider May. She is not a lot of work. Short walks or a fenced yard would be perfect. Of course she needs blankets and a soft spot to sleep (hopefully with you).
