PennWest University has designated November 11-15 as Military and Veterans Appreciation Week, reaffirming its commitment to supporting veterans and military families. President Jon Anderson emphasized honoring the sacrifices of military members, especially within the PennWest community. Veterans Day will be marked by ceremonies at each campus, including a flag-raising by Clarion ROTC and a public breakfast featuring Vietnam-era U.S. Army veteran Edward Deitz as the keynote speaker. Hundreds of flags will line the campus for the Flags for the Fallen/Walk of Remembrance, allowing attendees to reflect on the service of loved ones. More information is available on the university’s website.
