PennDOT invites public comment on EV charging station proposal

PennDOT is seeking public feedback on its proposal to expand electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across Pennsylvania. A survey is open on the PennDOT website until October 11. The 2024 NEVI State Plan Update outlines progress and plans for using federal funds to develop 1,800 miles of Alternate Fuel Corridors and invest in community-focused EV charging. PennDOT’s framework includes Corridor Connections, Community Charging, Critical Investments, and an EV Charging Workforce, with $59 million already allocated to charging projects.
