Over 80 additional plow trucks and 100 employees from PennDOT’s 10 other districts have joined the local team of 52 plow trucks and 90 operators, along with 34 pieces of equipment and 55 staff from District 1. Despite ongoing road treatments, PennDOT’s priority is to keep roads passable rather than entirely free of snow and ice. Cleanup efforts will continue until the storm ends and road conditions improve.
