Supporters of both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump rally on behalf of their respective presidential candidate of choice at the corner of Liberty and 14th streets in Franklin early Friday evening. According to Jan Hines, a member of Oil Region Rising Indivisible, there were about 100 people who showed up and the gathering was “peaceful.” She said the number of Harris ticket supporters substantially outnumbered the number of Trump ticket supporters. The Democratic rally was organized by Oil Region Rising Indivisible in conjunction with the Venango County Democrats. Sue Crisman Allen, in collaboration with the Venango County Republicans, organized the GOP rally.
