The Oil Region Astronomical Society will host a free public night at the Oil Region Astronomy Learning Center from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23.
Weather permitting, there will be opportunities to observe celestial objects through the 30-inch telescope. There also will be a presentation on nature and astronomy digital photography by ORAS member Dean Salisbury.
ORAS is located at 4249 Camp Coffman Road, Cranberry Township.
