An open house and community celebration will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Crawford Center Auditorium in Emlenton, to honor the 4-H Electrotechs robotics club.
The Electrotechs received the Judges Award at the World Championships in St. Louis in April.
The team credits winning the Judges Award to the community that surounded them during their competitions because judges were impressed the group was able to find sponsorship that enabled the team to participate in this event in such a short time.
The judges were also impressed at the Pittsburgh Regional that the group had so many diverse sponsors.
Several awards will be presented during the celebration.
