One person died from injuries suffered in a weather-related crash involving four tractor-trailers on Interstate 80 on Saturday morning, according to Clarion state police.
The crash, according to Clarion County 911, occurred at 6:47 a.m., near mile marker 64, westbound, in Clarion Township and that one person had been transported to Clarion Hospital.
Police said the crash closed the westbound portion of the interstate for 12 hours, due to all four of the vehicles involved being tractor-trailers, and that one of the trailers climbed over an embankment and another jackknifed across the interstate.
In another weather-related crash, Venango County 911 said there were no injuries from an accident involving two vehicles at 12:55 p.m. Saturday on Liberty Street in Franklin. Franklin police responded.
