Old-Fashioned Christmas to return in Franklin

Franklin’s Old-Fashioned Christmas celebration returns this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering festive fun for families in the downtown area. Children can register at Edward Jones to receive a stocking or hat (limited to the first 200 kids) to collect treats and gifts from local businesses. Activities include the Kris Kringle Kids’ Shoppe with gifts under $5, two craft-making stations, a scavenger hunt, and a photo booth at Anderson Furniture. Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet children at the Barrow-Civic Theatre, accompanied by festive music from a barbershop quartet and the Red Hat Ladies. Visitors can also enjoy free hot cocoa, a balloon artist, and a lively downtown atmosphere.
