Nine candidates are vying to be the queen of the Oil Heritage Festival.
The queen will be crowned at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Central Avenue plaza. The Queen and her court will appear at a number of events throughout the festival.
The queen candidates are:

Bailey Cassidy of Oil City High School, daughter of Jenna Munoz
Amanda Cornelius of Cranberry High School, daughter of Ray and Cindy Cornelius
Emerald Lynn Foust of Oil City High School, daughter of Charlotte Harkless
Shannon Goreczny of Venango Catholic High School, daughter of Matthew and Traci Goreczny
Lucy Hutchinson of Oil City High School, daughter of Scott and Mary Beth Hutchinson
Mikayla McFarland of Cranberry High School, daughter of Greg and Michelle McFarland
Julia Adelina Serbati of Oil City High School, daughter of Frank and Amy Serbati
Margi Vyas of Cranberry High School, daughter of Praful and Hina Vyas
