The Oil Heritage Festival Bike ‘n Brew will be held on Saturday, July 21, in Justus Park, Oil City. Free outdoor activities during this time include guided bike rides throughout the county for road cyclists, a children’s bike rodeo, classes taught through the League of American Bicyclists, a free shuttle for bicyclists and a bike mechanic on duty. Local food vendors will set up beginning at 11 a.m. through 8 p.m.
The brewfest will take place from 5 to 8 p.m., where attendees can sample craft beer from more than 15 local and national breweries. The brewfest will be in a fenced-off tent in the park and community members 21 years old and older must purchase a ticket to enter and sample beer.
From 4 to 5:30 p.m., Bryan Schwab and the Static Gypsies will perform. From 6 to 8 p.m., attendees will hear from Shally ‘n the RiffRiders, an Erie based group.
Pre-sale brewfest tickets are $30 for general tickets, $40 for VIP tickets, and available at the door for $5 extra. Designated driver tickets are also available for $10. Tickets can be purchased at the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce or online at www.ohfbikenbrew.org.
