The Court Appointed Special Advocates of Venango County and the Oil City Arts Council are hosting the 16th annual Oil Country Bluegrass Festival on March 1 at the Oil City Moose Club, dedicated to the late Jim Edwards, a beloved bass player. Featuring 19 bluegrass bands performing throughout the day, the festival is free to attend, with donations and proceeds from raffles, merchandise, and food sales benefiting CASA and the Arts Council. Community volunteers will assist at the event, which offers accessible facilities, food, and a cash bar. For more information, attendees can contact CASA executive director Sheena Cassedy at (814) 670-0550 or contact@casaofvenangocounty.org.
