An Oil City woman, Rachael Renee Knight, 36, is facing multiple charges, including eight counts of aggravated assault, after causing a disturbance in Cranberry Township. Knight, who appeared intoxicated, was taken into custody after displaying erratic behavior, including spitting and damaging property. While in custody, she continued to be aggressive, damaging a police vehicle and assaulting law enforcement, medical staff, and security officers. She is currently held in Venango County jail, unable to post bail, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 11.
