An Oil City High School student was arrested at the school Thursday for assaulting another student.
Oil City police said the incident occurred at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police said the 14-year-old student has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, strangulation, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.
High school principal Scott Stahl said the matter is being investigated.
“(These) types of situations don’t happen frequently, but when they do, we’re consistent with following through our protocol,” Stahl said.
