OC woman in court today for missing arraignment

Stephanie King, a 25-year-old Oil City woman, is facing new charges for missing a court appearance in June related to four prior cases. After waiving preliminary hearings for those cases, she failed to attend her June 18 arraignment, resulting in a bench warrant for her arrest. The original cases involved charges of identity theft, receiving stolen property, forgery, and unauthorized use of access devices, among others. King later accepted a negotiated plea deal, pleading guilty to various felony and misdemeanor charges. Following her missed court appearance, she now faces four additional felony counts for defaulting on required court appearances and is currently in Venango County jail.
