Randy Novak lives in Cooperstown but comes down to Oil City to hang out at The Point. He didn’t want me to tell anyone what he was drinking outside McNerney’s on Seneca Street Thursday afternoon, though I’m not sure why. It didn’t appear to be anything to be concerned about and it wasn’t even alcohol and I don’t believe it had any alcohol added to the can. But he was adamant that I don’t say, so I won’t.
He didn’t have any problem with me photographing him smoking his cigarette though.
I really love the people of this town and stopping and just chatting a little about their day. He told me how bad the storm was this morning and he told me I was a nice man.
Have to admit meeting Randy today made my day.
