Every week at Hasson Heights Elementary we celebrate an “Artist of the Week” throughout the school year.
The “Artist of the Week” is chosen based on specific criteria, such as using their time wisely in the art room and creating their own imaginative ideas and concepts. Artists are recognized all week at school on the morning announcements and with their picture on the “Artist of the Week” bulletin board.
Before the school year ended, one artist was selected to receive a basket of art supplies to take home for the summer. Other artists all take home sketchbooks and colored pencils.
