Matt Croyle’s pilot episode script for ‘Circle, Michigan’ has been selected as a semi-finalist in the Hollywood Casting and Film Screenwriting Competition.
If chosen as a finalist, ‘Circle, Michigan’ would be eligible for monetary and equipment prizes from the competition and would also be featured in a Talent Summit in Hollywood, in March, where LA-based actors would present a three- to -five minute scene from the script in front of industry executives.
Matt Croyle, of Oil City, is the founder of the Oil Valley Film Festival.
The competition and summit are overseen by industry and festival veteran Jon Fitzgerald who co-founded Slamdance before directing a number of other major festivals including AFI and Santa Barbara.
