The Oil City James M. Henderson American Legion Post 32 and Oil City VFW Post 464 will host the annual Memorial Day program Monday at the flagpole at Grove Hill Cemetery.
Ceremonies will start at 10 a.m.
The flagpole is dedicated to Edwin F. Day, who was a charter member of the American Legion post and a veteran of the Spanish American War and World War 1.
The program will include music by Mostly Brass, the Venango County Veterans Honor Guard, a historian who will speak about the Civil War, and the placing of the wreaths and call of the departed in the last year.
