Franklin state police have identified 62-year-old Michael P. Milstead of Oil City as the victim of a fatal single-vehicle crash on Rynd Hill Road in Cornplanter Township on Wednesday. Milstead was driving downhill in his 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer when he lost control approaching a left curve, causing the vehicle to slide, hit a guide rail, go airborne, and collide with multiple trees before landing in a creek. Police reported that Milstead was found deceased at the scene of the crash, which occurred around 12:50 p.m.
