OC man faces charges for breaking into businesses

Eric Lawson, a 33-year-old Oil City man, was held for court after being accused of breaking into two local businesses, the Last Call Tavern and Ocean Spray Car Wash. On October 9, police responded to the tavern, where Lawson had allegedly damaged property, including ripping out wires and smashing fixtures. Footage from the tavern confirmed Lawson’s identity, and his shoe prints matched those found at the crime scene. Lawson faces multiple felony charges, including burglary and criminal mischief, and was denied bail after refusing to see the judge at his arraignment.
