The Oil City and Franklin swimming pools will open for the season this weekend.
In Oil City, the James A. Nelles Swimming Pool in the city’s Hasson Heights neighborhood will open Saturday. The hours will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The pool hours for the summer are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays and noon to 6 p.m. weekdays. Admission prices are unchanged from last year.
In Franklin, the Miller-Sibley Pool at 305 Spruce St. will open Sunday. The hours will be 1 to 6 p.m.
Pool hours for the season are noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 6 p.m. Sundays through Fridays.
