OC conducting surveys of Bishop Avenue residents starting today

The City of Oil City has begun conducting demographic surveys for a street reconstruction project on Bishop Avenue, as part of its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The survey is required by federal regulations to determine eligibility for funding and must be completed by 100% of households in the area. The one-page survey asks for family size and whether their income is above or below a specific threshold, but does not require exact income details. Responses are confidential and used solely for grant administration. The deadline is September 27, after which the city will follow up with non-respondents via phone or in person.
