Nifty at 90: Seneca woman has always embraced adventures

The “Nifty at 90” series highlights Joanne Hart of Seneca, a vibrant woman who has spent her 90 years collecting friends, experiences, and cherished memories. Born in 1935, Joanne was the last surviving member of her family and shared a 70-year marriage with her late husband Robin. A devoted mother, Navy wife, and community volunteer, Joanne balanced service with joy, embracing hobbies like bowling, golfing, bridge, knitting, and sewing. She and Robin traveled widely, raised three children, and created a warm, adventurous family life. Even in her later years, Joanne remained active and curious — from bouncing on trampolines at 70 to learning to text in her 80s. Her family and her love of life remain her greatest treasures.
