Nifty at 90: Oil City woman loves baking, knitting, crocheting

After raising her family, Janet and her husband traveled extensively until his passing in 2013. She later reconnected with an old friend, Nelson Best, and the two have been inseparable ever since. At 90, Janet remains active, driving, playing bingo, and hosting large family gatherings during the holidays. An open house in her honor will be held on August 25 at Hasson Park from 1-4 PM at the large pavillion.
