Peter E. Cauvel Jr. of Franklin is celebrating his 90th birthday on September 29, 2024. Born in 1934, Pete spent much of his childhood on a family farm and later built his own home in Victory Heights. He has been married to Patricia Joan Seaton for nearly 69 years, raising three daughters, seven grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. Pete worked at Amalie Refinery, Pennzoil, and PennDOT before retiring. Throughout his life, he enjoyed hobbies like car racing, hunting in Colorado, walleye fishing on Lake Erie, and now takes joy in spending time with his great-grandchildren and maintaining his property.
