Nifty at 90: Clintonville man owned, operated barber shop for 54 years

Richard C. Vogan, born in 1934 in Hornell, New York, is a retired barber and U.S. Army veteran. After serving in France with the 332nd Field Hospital, he returned to work as a medical technician before opening his own barber shop in Clintonville, where he worked for 54 years until his retirement at age 79. Vogan recently celebrated 66 years of marriage with his wife, JoAnn, and is actively involved in his community through his church, a Masonic lodge, and the RC Flying Club in Emlenton. His hobbies include building model airplanes, gardening, and walking his dog Diesel.
