The annual In the Nick of Time gift drive for needy teens in the area will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Double Play restaurant in Oil City.
The holiday initiative honors the memory of Nick Sanford, a Cranberry High School student who died in 2003.
Sanford’s friends and family team up with Community Services of Venango County, and those planning to attend the event are asked to take an unwrapped, teenager-appropriate gift.
The gifts will be matched to names and ages of boys and girls on the Community Services list.
A light dinner will be available.
Anyone who wants to buy a gift but can’t be present that day can drop off the gift at Double Play.
