Newmemo children’s ring sets recalled due to high lead, cadmium levels

The Pennsylvania Department of Health is warning parents about a recall of Newmemo children’s ring sets due to dangerously high levels of lead and cadmium. The 36-pack rings, sold in pink heart-shaped display cases, exceed federal safety limits for these toxic substances, posing serious health risks to children, including cognitive impairment and developmental issues. Families who purchased the rings should dispose of them and seek lead and cadmium exposure testing for their children, as recommended by the CDC. For more information, parents can call the lead information hotline or consult their child’s healthcare provider for blood tests.
