The Ninth Annual Nature Art Showcase and Sale will take place on February 7-8 at the Barrow-Civic Theatre in Franklin, featuring artwork inspired by northwestern Pennsylvania’s natural beauty. Hosted by the Council on Greenways and Trails and the Penn Soil Resource Conservation and Development Council, the event welcomes 2-D and 3-D works from regional artists, capped at 75 participants. Artists must pre-register by January 8 to be included in the exhibition booklet, which features biographies, artwork photos, and contact details. Attendees can vote for “People’s Choice Awards” in categories including a new “Pollinators” theme. Public hours are 5-7 p.m. on February 7 and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on February 8, coinciding with Franklin On Ice. Artwork is available for sale, with a 15% commission benefiting the event organizers.
