The training is open to the public.
A limited number of vouchers for free Narcan will be provided to attendees. The vouchers may then be presented to participating pharmacies.
The hour-long training will cover:
- Ways to reduce the risk of an accidental overdose;
- How to identify symptoms of an overdose;
- How to administer Narcan;
- Substance abuse treatment services available in Venango County.
Registration is not required for this event. It is being sponsored by the Venango County Overdose Task Force and is being hosted by the Venango College Rehabilitation Club.

Narcan is a drug that is used to reverse overdoses from opioid drugs. It has long been used by first responders and now it is available to the general public without a prescription.
