More than 2 dozen indicted on drug, firearms violations

An Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force investigation has led to charges against 26 individuals involved in a regional drug trafficking network spanning Erie and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania. The defendants are charged with distributing large quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine, with several also facing firearms violations. The investigation, which involved local law enforcement from Oil City and Franklin, uncovered drug distributors possessing firearms illegally, including Glock conversion devices. The indictments, unsealed Wednesday, target overlapping drug operations that supplied dangerous narcotics to northwestern Pennsylvania, reinforcing the commitment to combating drug and firearm-related crime in the region.
