More details have been released in connection with an incident Monday in which three women and a man are facing charges after drugs were found in a house on Gilfillan Street in Rocky Grove.

Sugarcreek Borough police were called to the residence by a Probation and Parole agent who found drugs in plain view, Sugarcreek police said in a criminal complaint.

Police said a child was sitting on a bed next to Alicia Summerville, 28, who lived at the residence. Also on the bed were a container with a large amount of crystal methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, several cell phones, a large amount of cash, torch lighters, baggies, various other items that can be used to process drugs, a pistol magazine and ammo, the complaint said.

After searching the residence, police found suspected heroin, a container of marijuana, two black bags of drug paraphernalia as well as many other items of drug paraphernalia, a machete, $531 in cash, and a total of 36 grams of crystal methamphetamine, the complaint said.

Summerville, Victoria Aites, 26, of Jackson Center, and Autumn Meehan, 23, of Franklin, who were at the residence, were taken into custody, the complaint said.

The three were all charged with felony counts of criminal conspiracy and endangering the welfare of children and misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and use/ possession of drug paraphernalia.

The three women were arraigned Monday before district judge Matthew Kirtland and placed in the Venango County jail after failing to post bail. Their preliminary hearings are set for Jan. 8 in Central Court.
