Oil City police reported they have made contact with Steven T. Martin, 23, of Oil City, who was reported missing Jan. 27.
“We’ve had contact with Mr. Martin in Virginia,” police chief Bob Wenner said. “He’s fine and he’s actually going to go to the Fairfax County Police Department.”
Wenner said that he has siblings in Virginia, but that police have asked him to go to a local police station so that his safety can be verified.
“We want to verify that he’s OK and that he’s not under duress,” Wenner said.
Martin was reported to have left his home of his own accord while angry. His family was concerned for his safety due to medical and emotional issues.
