A Worthington resident has been identified as the man who died in a bicycle accident early Sunday morning on Belmar Acres Road in Sandycreek Township.
Venango County Coroner Christina Rugh pronounced Christopher Smith, 37, dead at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Community Ambulance Service and Sandycreek and Polk volunteer firefighters responded to the scene of the 1:15 a.m. incident and rendered aid but were unable to revive Smith, Franklin state police said.
Police are investigating the incident as an accidental death.
