An Oil City man is facing multiple sex-related charges for having consensual sex with a 13-year-old girl.
A criminal complaint filed through district judge Andrew Fish’s office said Justin Hunter, 19, was interviewed Tuesday afternoon by Franklin state police trooper Hilary Latshaw.
The complaint says Latshaw questioned Hunter about his involvement with a 13-year-old girl who ran away from home the previous night.
Hunter admitted he picked up the girl Monday at her residence in Sandycreek Township and drove her to his home on Jefferson Street in Oil City, the complaint said. Hunter then drove the girl back to her father’s house Monday afternoon, according to the complaint.
During Tuesday’s interview, Hunter admitted having consensual sexual intercourse with the girl while at his residence and that they had performed other sexual acts on each other, the complaint said.
Charges filed against Hunter include one count each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years of age, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault of person less than 16 years of age.
Hunter was arraigned Tuesday by Fish and was placed in the Venango County jail after failing to post $75,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing has been tentatively scheduled for Wednesday in Central Court.
