The macro-invertebrate study that was scheduled today by the Venango PA Senior Environmental Corps across from Agway in Oil City has been postponed.
Organizers say the stream is too high for the study to be conducted, but it will be rescheduled when the water recedes to an appropriate depth.
The study, when rescheduled, will allow participants to learn about the habitat, feeding methods and life cycles of many of the organisms found in the stream.
The VPaSEC will still hold its regular meeting today at the FICDA Building on Howard Street in Franklin.
