The City of Franklin street department will pick up leaves with the vacuum machines next week in the following areas:
Monday: Franklin Heights and bagged leaves pickup throughout the city.
Tuesday: Odd side of Elk from 11th to 2nd, Greentree area of Franklin Heights
Thursday: Even side of Liberty from 11th to 1st, Gurney Road area of Franklin Heights
Friday: Odd side of Buffalo from 11th to 1st, odd side of 4th and the Gurney Road area of Franklin Heights
There will also be bagged leaf pick-ups throughout the city.
Residents are asked to rake their leaves to the edge of their front lawns, not on the street, for pick-up by the city crews.
The city will also pick up paper biodegradable bags of leaves (no plastic bags) Monday and Friday.
Anyone with questions can call the city garage from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at 437-1600.
Residents are reminded to observe the temporary No Parking signs to keep from getting ticketed.
