Klapec Trucking Co. recently was named recipient of the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association’s 2021 Fleet Safety President’s Award, the premier recognition for most outstanding fleet safety in the state.
The award, which the Reno-based company received Friday during PMTA’s banquet in the Pocono Mountains, is presented annually to the motor carrier fleet that meets and exceeds stringent safety criteria established by PMTA for reportable and nonreportable accidents based on miles traveled.
In addition, PMTA recognized Klapec with a first place award in both the General Commodities Truck Load Division and the Flat-Bed Truck Load Division.
“All of these achievements have been earned by our outstanding, hard-working team of drivers, shop technicians and office staff putting their best foot forward every single day. We are so proud of our excellent team,” Klapec President Cindy Urban said in a news release.
