A Kennerdell woman suffered suspected serious injuries in a motor vehicle accident in Clinton Township Saturday afternoon.
According to Franklin state police, Tammy D. Toth, 37, was traveling east on Route 208 approximately half a mile east of Coal Valley Road at approximately 2:22 p.m. when her vehicle left the roadway and spun before going airborne.
She struck a tree with her 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix and began to roll before striking more trees and coming to a rest.
Toth had to be removed from the car mechanically by members of both Clintonville and Emlenton fire departments.
Upon extrication, Toth was transported via STAT MedEvac to UPMC Presbyterian for suspected serious injuries.
Toth was not wearing her seatbelt and was citing for driving at an unsafe speed.
