U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly announced the introduction of his legislation to rename the U.S. Postal Service branch in Titusville after Edwin Drake, who became the first American to successfully drill for oil and ultimately launched the modern American oil industry.
This bill would rename the post office, at 135 W. Spring St., to the Edwin L. Drake Post Office Building, according to a news release from Kelly’s office.
