The “Billy’s Has Karma” concert series in Oil City will start its eighth season on Nov. 7, featuring weekly Thursday performances from 7 to 9 p.m. at Billy’s for a $5 entry fee. The series opens with In Harmony, followed by Brandon Rae on Nov. 14 and the Wyllis Street Band on Nov. 21. Organized by Kay Woods, the series has raised nearly $50,000 over the years to support the Lyric Restoration Project in downtown Oil City, now entering its construction phase. Local sponsors include Stubler’s Drive Thru and the Woods family, and funds will continue to aid the theater’s operational needs.
